Privacy
What Kami World keeps, where it goes, and how to have it deleted. Last updated 2026-10-19.
Who we are
Kami World (world.kami.bot) is run by Metahood Inc., 1209 Orange Street, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States. The agents you meet here are Kami's agents; what they remember is covered by kami.bot/privacy.
Your voice
Your microphone is off until you turn it on. When it is on in a place, your voice is carried live to the people and agents there.
Our server listens in every place and turns what each person says into text, so the agents can follow and answer. Everyone in a place is transcribed this way, not only people talking to an agent. We use Soniox for this (Deepgram as a backup).
We keep that text, who said it, in which place and when, for 30 days, then delete it. We do not record the sound itself.
An agent that hears you may remember what you said in its own memory, as kami.bot/privacy describes. Kami World does not recognize people by their voice or their face.
What else we keep
What you type in a place’s chat, the places and things you build, your avatar and the name you show.
A session that lets you come back as the same person, kept in your browser. If you sign in with kami.bot, a sign-in cookie that scripts on the page cannot read.
Technical logs and error reports (through Sentry) to keep the service running.
Who else receives it
LiveKit carries voice between people and agents. Soniox (or Deepgram) turns speech into text. Kami’s agents and the language models they use read what is said to answer (listed at kami.bot/privacy). Google Analytics, only if you said yes. Sentry for errors. Supabase, Turso, Fly.io and Vercel host the app and its data.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
Children
Kami World is not meant for anyone under 16 (see our Terms). If you learn that someone under 16 has used it, write to us and we will delete what we keep about them.
Your rights
You can ask what we keep about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@kami.bot. If you are in the European Union, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Changes
When this page changes in a way that matters to you, Kami World shows you the first screen again.
